Try Deas Family Project: Join the Mission, Cousins! Part 3

Try Deas Family Project: Join the Mission, Cousins!

The Try Deas Family Project

A Message from Louis: Let's Build Our Legacy Together!

Hey Cousins, This Is For Us!

What's going on, family? I know it's been a minute for many of us, but I wanted to share something truly special that's been on my heart. Check out these videos below for a quick explanation of what's going on.

This is a big step for me, stepping out of my comfort zone and asking for your strategic help. Our family is embedded in the very foundation of Try Deas, and now I want us to prove a point together. Namely, that there's still a way towards prosperity with innovation, and God has already given us what we need to succeed.

Our Shared Story: From Pecans to Purpose, Faith to Future

One night, in that weird space between being awake and asleep, God woke me up with what I believe to be a multi-billion dream that's becoming a reality.

Deas Nuts.

Yes, I know. Crazy. Imagine how I felt. Louis Deas isn't supposed to be an entrepreneur. He's a Deas. He's a preacher. And there's a "calling" on his life. For a long time I felt uncomfortable with where God was calling me, but now I'm more sure than ever that this is part of God's plan. Not just for me, but for our family. Especially in times like this.

Times are getting hard, and they're only going to get harder. But we have an asset that is slowly fading as generations go by. We have an ignorantly large family, and we are all attached to a really cool name, and are people of the Name. So, who better to do some amazing stuff than the descendants of Thomas and Uneedia Deas?

Our faith has always been our foundation and legacy. Just like Bishop R.C. Lawson, founder of COOLJC, heard the Lord say, "Add thou to it," my parents, namely my mom, encouraged me to add on to the foundation that we've inherited and build on our shared vision of our family's future [this was during a conversation I had about changing our 'always-church-all-the-time' approach]. And I believe this business is a part of that.

Now, almost 7 years later, some of us (friends and family!) have been working hard to take this fun snack brand and turn it into something much bigger: a global enterprise built on Culture, Community, and Conversation. It's about more than just delicious nuts; it's about building a legacy, creating greater connection and collaboration, and making even greater things come to life.

Our Journey: Growing Exponentially!

Try Deas has been growing quickly and catching the attention of some major players. God is good, and you guys have been a part of this journey every step of the way – your love, support, purchases, and word-of-mouth mean everything.

  • We've been accepted into the Beltline Accelerator Program and are opening our first flagship retail store on Atlanta's Beltline! This is a huge deal – we were one of only 14 small businesses chosen from thousands of applications.
  • We'll be there through the FIFA World Cup in 2026, aiming to become the **Official Snack of Atlanta** and be globally known – 'Georgia Grown. Atlanta based. Internationally known.'
  • We won the Pharrell Williams 'Black Ambition' pitch competition in Atlanta last year!
  • We're building a vibrant community based on our values: Culture, Community, and Conversation (the 3 C's).

The Try Deas Family Project: Your Role

I've been learning to walk out my faith, stepping outside my comfort zone and getting over fears, especially asking for help from family. But this is strategic help. My business is founded on Culture, Community, and Conversation, and I always say that with faith in yourself, faith in God, and faith in your community, sprinkled with some innovation, you can do anything.

While we're ramping up for the Beltline and getting ready to be seen by millions, I want to add my cousins to be part of my story. I want to rally all of us as a family to make Try Deas a family project. I want us to blow it up!

Your Four Key Actions:

  • 1. Connect & Share Your Interests (Stress Test Our Systems!):

We're looking to perfect our processes and "stress test" our systems, so your feedback is invaluable! Please fill out our Community & Connection Form. This helps us understand your interests, how you'd like to plug in, and ensures you get updates on what matters most to you. It also helps us with important info like nut allergies.

Click here to fill out the Community Form and get your initial discount!

(Yes, you get a discount just for helping us test our systems!)

The Incentive Program: Your Path to Shared Success

I want you guys to be the beta for our new incentive program, and I really want your feedback as we test our systems and scale. Yes, there's money tied to it – not to pay bills yet, but as "seed money for back-to-school shopping" or to "put in a savings account." This is the foundation we're building on together.

Your Individual Sales Commissions:

As a valued member of the Try Deas Family Project, you will earn at our Core Sales Team commission rate from day one! This is our most aggressive rate, designed to reward your direct efforts.

The Try Deas Family Beta Test: Share Your Expertise!

We're launching a special beta test just for our family, leveraging our collective wisdom and expertise! This is an opportunity to share your unique skills and insights, helping us refine our products, processes, and community initiatives. This beta test is the foundation for our Try Deas ideation course and the launchpad for our larger Skool community expansion.

We've already locked in with some friends who are willing to share their expertise, and we want our family to be at the heart of this. Your input will help move us forward individually, as individual families, and as our entire clan.

How to Participate:

  • Express Your Interest: Fill out our Community and Connections Form to tell us about your expertise and how you'd like to contribute.
  • Collaborate & Innovate: Participate in feedback sessions, product trials, or strategic discussions.
  • Shape Our Future: Your insights will directly influence the direction of Try Deas products, community programs, and overall growth.

(This is a separate opportunity for collaboration, distinct from sales commissions.)

The Try Deas Hub (Skool Community): Learn, Build & Grow Together!

The Try Deas Hub is designed as more than a fan base or a snack-loyalty group. It’s a living ecosystem—a space where food, culture, and entrepreneurship intersect, and where people can learn, build, and grow together. Rooted in the Try Deas story of connection, joy, and community, it's a place where members feel like they’re part of something bigger than snacks—a movement of innovation, entrepreneurship, and shared growth.

The iDeas Innovation Lab Track:

Within the Hub, members gain access to the iDeas Innovation Lab, a structured track of lessons and projects designed to help people move from vision → execution → impact.

  • Purpose & Vision: Clarifying your “why” and aligning it with action.
  • Resources & Strategy: How to leverage what you already have and build systems for growth.
  • Action & Accountability: Tools, trackers, and peer accountability to make ideas real.
  • Innovation Frameworks: “Create, use, save, invest,” and the alchemy concept of combining personal strengths like elements in a periodic table.

These lessons will live inside Skool as courses, workshops, and challenges, giving members a clear path to grow personally, professionally, and communally.

Collaborative Projects & Pods:

Members don’t just learn—they build together. The community structure encourages the formation of pods or project teams where people can apply what they learn, test ideas, and even launch small businesses or initiatives. Over time, each project “pays tax” back into the community, creating a self-sustaining loop of innovation and growth.

Multiple Entry Points & Cultural Anchoring:

The Hub will eventually house different tracks (e.g., Entrepreneurship, Creative Collaboration, Personal Growth, Lifestyle), creating a university-style structure (iDeas University) where each track plugs into the Innovation Lab and connects to real-world opportunities. This is culturally anchored in local Atlanta (BeltLine shop, community events, Georgia Grown identity) and expands into national and global conversations (e.g., World Cup exposure).
